Finding your voice

Breaking the enforced silence and relearning to express one's own truth

Reading 1 — From top to bottom (from 1 to 10)

1
10

I am silenced, trapped in a world that refuses to hear my suffering.

And it would be naive to believe that

My voice has value, and there are attentive ears to listen to me.

2
9

Nobody cares what I have to say, my words change nothing.

It is pointless to believe that

Every word spoken with authenticity can open doors and transform things.

3
8

I refuse to believe that

My story belongs to me and I have the legitimate right to tell it.

4
7

Others know better than me, my opinion doesn't count.

It is foolish to think that

My point of view, my experience, and my judgment are of real importance.

5
6

The fear of being judged prevents me from opening my mouth; I prefer to disappear.

It would be misleading to believe that

Expressing who I am is an act of freedom, not a fatal risk.

6
5

I feel illegitimate, I don't have the words to express what I feel.

It would be wrong to consider that

My emotions and thoughts deserve to be expressed, simply as they are.

7
4

I'm afraid of bothering people, I prefer to swallow my needs and my limits.

It would be illusory to think that

Setting my boundaries and saying what I need is a sign of respect for myself.

8
3

I no longer dare to assert my rights; they always end up silencing me.

It would be inconceivable to believe that

I have a position to fill and my word can tip the scales.

9
2

I am too weak to make my voice heard in the face of others and institutions.

It would be absurd to think that

Courage begins where fear tries to silence me.

10
1

Life has taught me to bow my head and accept oblivion.

And it would be wrong to consider that

I carry within me the strength to break the silence and finally make myself heard.

📣 Mot de la fin

The words remained exactly the same.
Only the direction of your gaze has changed.
